Island cleared of brush and controlled burn in early March
As a result of the collective efforts of many at the Fall 2021 clean up day, there were 2 very large piles of brush gathered. In mid-March, on 3 occasions, Paul Rosin, Claude Adair, Dave Blouin, and Jim Cox secured a burn permit and burned the brush. Thanks for a job well done, to help collect the brush and to these 4 volunteers who finished up the work. The island paths are easily walkable, and there is good visualization of the island from the shore.
