The Board of Governer's has approved a lake draw down occurring at the end of September and/or October.

A number of people have contacted the Board to ask what type of work can be done during the drawdown. The Board is 
sharing the following:

 

Approved
1.  Repair and maintain existing docks.
2.  Hand rake leaves and debris from the lake bottom.
3.  Remove large rocks or concrete without disturbing the lake bottom.
4.  Repair and maintain existing walls along the lakefront.

 

Restricted
1.  Building or Replacing Docks without Association approval per LHA Ordinance 2-4
2.  Building new walls along the lakefront without approval of the Association and the Harwinton Inland-Wetland Comm.
3.  Utilizing a backhoe to dredge the lake bottom removing silt, leaves, dirt, etc.
