The lake will be drawn down at a rate of about 2 inches per day, and will reach the target of 4.5 to 5 feet by the end of October.  The repair work will be performed in November.  The valve will be closed and the lake will start filling in December.  We expect the lake to reach normal level sometime in February.  Given this schedule, November will be a good time to perform any dock or retaining wall maintenance.
