A decrease in water clarity since Labor Day indicates a probable rise in the concentration of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) in our lake.  We have contacted our limnologist, and will continue to monitor the lake quality.  Until lake clarity improves, we ask you to reconsider lake activities and limit your exposure to the water.  DO NOT allow children or animals to drink the water.
